Link Solutions, Inc. (LSi), a rapidly-emerging provider of high-end solutions to the federal government, announced today that Steve Walker has been named Executive Vice President for Operations. Mr. Walker will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, growth, customer satsifaction and delivery of LSi’s contracts, and will report to Mr. John Barrass, President and Chief Operations Officer.
Mr. Bhupesh Wadhawan, LSi’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder commented “Steve, John and I have many years of experience of working together to take care of our employees, partners, and customers. As EVP for Operations, he will lead the support of LSi’s customers, develop solutions for customers using LSi’s current contract vehicles and strategically pursue new opportunities, to achieve company growth.

During his 30-year career, Mr. Walker has gained extensive experience in all aspects of operations management and business development in provision of systems integration solutions for the public sector. His skills span the full scope of both technical and business functions, providing effective leadership and results-driven performance management. His former division at his last company was the first in the US to achieve an ISO 20000 certification for IT Service Management.
Mr. Walker holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Penn State University.
