If you’re a company in the healthcare IT space, here’s something to add to your daily reading: A new blog by Dr. David Blumenthal, national coordinator for health information technology at the Department of Health and Human Services.

Launched a week ago, Health IT Buzz will have Blumenthal blogging on several discussion points: Activities to advance standards to achieve interoperability; evaluation of new options for EHS certification; guidance initiatives to protect the privacy and security of health information; plus, a consideration of overall privacy and security concerns.
