Carlos C. Solari is vice president of cyber technology and services at CSC. He most recently held several senior management roles with Alcatel-Lucent, including vice president for security strategy and solutions, and vice president of quality, security and reliability.
Previously, Solari served as chief information officer at the Executive Office of the President. In that capacity, he created and implemented the strategy and enterprise architecture for a major systems renovation covering all aspects of the enterprise computing serving the White House and its supporting offices. Prior to that, he managed several IT programs for the FBI.
In 2004, Solari was selected by Federal Computer Weekly as a top 100 executive for his work in bringing the EOP from a level 2 rating to a level 5 rating – in the Government Accountability Office enterprise architecture assessment.
In addition, Solari has co-written a book on cybersecurity titled “Security in a Web 2.0+ World.”
