Martin Wright was appointed global chief information officer at The AEA Group in 2008. In that capacity, he oversees all worldwide IT functions and acts as a liaison between technology and business operations. Wright is responsible for providing the strategic direction on all aspects of technology.
Wright leads the global IT team to align AEA’s IT knowledge and experience to benefit individual capability and generate best value for all global customers. The global IT team and its mission of being in the technology vanguard, provide strategies, processes and architectures that ensure the integrity of AEA’s computing platform.
In addition, the global IT team incorporates AEA’s products and technologies into its internal business-support infrastructure. The enterprise-wide technologies provide an integrated and seamless platform for collaboration, communication and business integration.
Prior to AEA’s acquisition of PPC, he was CIO since January 2003. He accelerated PPC’s business by aligning technology strategy with its business objectives. Prior background includes roles as director of technology at Advenix Communications and chief technology officer at CompuTech Law.
Wright serves on the board of directors for Leadership Fairfax Inc, and is a member within the Industry Advisory Council.
Wright earned his bachelor’s degree in integrated studies from George Mason University.
