T. Richard Stroupe Jr. is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of NCI Information System’s, Inc. National Security Group. NSG, headquartered in Reston, Va., provides technological solutions and services to the U.S. Intelligence Community.
NSG’s services include cyber security; analytics and enrichment; geospatial visualization; mission analysis; agile software development; high-performance and grid computing; linguistics; forensics; and advanced software solutions centered on improving the collection, collaboration and sharing of intelligence development and implementation.
Stroupe received a B.S. degree from Appalachian State University and a M.S. degree from The George Washington University. He also graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and The Owner/President Management program at Harvard Business School.
Stroupe has 12 years of consulting experience. He founded, and was the CEO for, TRS Consulting Inc., which NCI acquired in July 2009. He also delivered software development and database administration support at companies, such as Oracle Corporation, BAE Systems and Science Applications International Corporation.
In addition, Stroupe is a published author and served on national journal editorial boards supporting Oracle Database technologies. He has lectured at Washington, DC area universities and corporations and currently sits on the advisory board for App State’s Walker College of Business. In 2010, Stroupe won the SmartCEO Smart 100 Award for top executives in DC.
