Richard Yuse is a Vice President of Raytheon Company and President of Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS). Joining the company in 1976, Yuse’s continuing involvement in many programs have led to many successes throughout Raytheon.
Yuse was president of Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) before he became head of SAS in March 2010. Here, he was responsible for the company’s operations and excellence. Through his leadership, he consistently led the business to growth and success for government and commercial customers.
Before RTSC, Yuse was Vice President of Integrated Air Defense for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). In this position, he oversaw all air defense programs. Prior to being VP of Integrated Air Defense, he served at VP of IDS’s Missile Defense. As such, Yuse led programs like the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, Upgraded Early Warning Radar and the sea-based X-Band Radar. He was also responsible for other programs in the department.
Before joining Raytheon, Yuse held various positions, such as program manager, flight test director and system architecture and design.
Yuse earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. He is a graduate of Raytheon Advanced Management Program.
