Dr. David Brager is vice president and chief technology officer for Ericsson Federal Inc. As such, he ensures he is up-to-date on emerging technologies and the development and implementation of technology strategies for the company’s federal customers.
Before Brager joined Ericsson Federal in 2010, he was director of Strategic Planning for a group of QinetiQ North America. In this position, Brager oversaw the development of strategic plan the the division and carried out various objectives.
Earlier in his career, he was director of business development for Dominion Technology Resources, Inc. before it was acquired by QinetiQ North America in 2008. Here, he was responsible for the company’s strategic plan and business development.
Prior, Brager served as vice president and CTO for a business unit of SAIC supporting the U.S. federal market. While in this position, he led the creation of technology strategies. He also served as vice president and division manager for a staff of more than 200 supporting key engineering programs.
Brager earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Youngstown State University. He then went on to earn his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton. He is a registered project management professional, as well as a licensed professional engineer in Virginia.
