In an interview with ExecutiveBiz, Jones explained he keeps the company’s mission in mind when completing his corporate duties. “As part of our mission, we try to stay ahead of it so we can translate it to our government customers and therefore, be fast, flexible and responsive to their growing needs,” he said.
Jones joined DLT in 2006 after it acquired EMSI. He was founder and president of EMSI for 10 years where he led the consulting and international trade professional services company’s day-to-day operations.
Prior, Jones was president of CSC Professional Services Group, Inc. During his 11 years with this company, he held various leadership roles and responsibilities.
Earlier in his career, Jones spent 10 years with Rockwell International Corporation in multiple leadership roles. He came to Rockwell after he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1973 after his 20 years of service in communications and electronics, including two tours of duty in Vietnam.
