Steve Movius is vice president of business management and chief financial officer for Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems sector. As such, he oversees all business management operations in finance, accounting, contracts, pricing, procurement, regulatory and export compliance, real estate and facilities in the sector.
Movius joined Northrop Grumman in 1995 as the vice president of business management for the Data Systems and Services division. In 1998, he was named vice president of business management for Logicon when the newly acquired Logicon subsidiary was combined with the Data Systems and Services division. He held this position through 2000.
Before assuming his current role in 2009, Movius served in similar roles for Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector from March 2003 to January 2009 and for its IT sector from January 2001 to February 2003.
Before joining Northrop Grumman in 1995, Movius spent 10 years with PRC Inc. He began his PRC career as business manager of its West Coast division and was later named controller of its engineering technology group he was also CFO for PRC’s Federal Systems group.
He has also held financial positions at TRW and XELAN.
Movius earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
