Gen. Michael Hayden Joins Board at Alion

Alion Science and Technology has named Gen. Michael V. Hayden, USAF (Ret.) to the company’s Board of Directors.

Hayden has a lengthy government track record, including stints as Director of the National Security Agency, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence. Other positions include Commander of the Air Intelligence Agency and Director of the Joint Command and Control Warfare Center.

“We are fortunate that Gen. Hayden has joined Alion’s board,” said Bahman Atefi, chairman and CEO. “His experience and unique insights will help the company tremendously as we expand our service offerings to serve a growing range of customers.”

Currently, Gen. Hayden serves as a principal at the Chertoff Group and is a Distinguished Visiting Professor at George Mason University School of Public Policy.
