New Structural Changes at SAIC
Science Applications International Corporation yesterday announced structural changes that will direct focus and resources to high-growth areas and provide enterprise-level emphasis on cybersecurity.
Charles Koontz, president of the Information Technology and Network Solutions Group, will serve as executive vice president for strategic projects and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Walt Havenstein.
Larry Cox, senior vice president and general manager of the Intelligence and Information Solutions Business Unit, will focus on cyber. Tony Moraco, senior vice president and general manager of the Space and Geospatial Intelligence Business Unit, will become executive vice president for operations and performance excellence.
Debbie James, senior vice president and general manager of the C4IT Business Unit, will serve as executive vice president for Communications and Government Affairs. Jim Cuff will take on the role as as executive vice president for Business Development Strategy and M&A.
General counsel Vince Maffeo will be responsible for two areas: Contracts, Pricing and Procurement, and Enterprise Risk Management.
Additionally to executives taking on new or extended duties, SAIC will also combine the Information Technology and Network Solutions Group with the Infrastructure, Logistics and Product Solutions Group to create the Infrastructure, Energy, Health and Product Solutions Group. Joe Craver is expected to lead the new group.
