Dr. Maneck Master is currently Telcordia Government and Public Sector vice president, responsible for the growing consulting business with government clients.
Before Telcordia, Maneck was the chief operating officer for NetCom Solutions International in Chantilly, Va., where he managed a supply-chain telecommunications business.
Maneck also spent more than 17 years with Bell Laboratories and AT&T, where he was in charge of R&D and technology management (hardware and software). He also operated the 7×24 network and asset management of an $800 million vertically integrated business focused on the largest government customers. In this capacity, Maneck was responsible for the operation of legacy circuit-switched networks, as well as one of the earliest high-speed IP-over-ATM networks. With a yearly budget of about $750 million, Maneck had a seat at the table running this business for AT&T.
Maneck has an MA and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida as well as a bachelor’s degree, also in electrical engineering.
