Sheila Cheston Installed as New General Counsel at NGC

Northrop Grumman’s Sheila C. Cheston has assumed the role of corporate vice president and general counsel.

Cheston takes over for Stephen D. Yslas, who will step down from the firm at the end of the year.

She will report to CEO Wes Bush and will work with NGC’s Corporate Policy Council.

“We are delighted to welcome Sheila Cheston, a seasoned and highly respected general counsel and industry leader, to our senior management team,” Bush said. “She brings broad-based legal and strategic expertise to her new position, including many years as a senior executive in the aerospace industry and in government.
