Lamboy, Others Win Tech Council of Maryland Recognition

John Lamboy, chief information systems security officer at Vangent, was deemed Chief Information Security Officer of the Year by the Tech Council of Maryland at its fifth annual CIO and CTO Live! Awards gala, held last week at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

Other than Lamboy, winners included Commercial IT Executive of the Year, which went to Mark Ives, chief information officer of Alion Science & Technology.

More than 400 local CIOs, CTOs and senior IT executives attended the event, which also aimed to raise money for TCM’s charitable foundation.
