CGI Group, Inc., announced today former Kentucky Chief Information Officer Aldona Valicenti will join the company as vice president for state and local markets.
Valicenti served as president of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers. She also led a business development team, as vice president of business development and strategy post for Oracle, to identify solutions and strategies for state and local government customers.
The first CIO appointed for the state of Kentucky, Valicenti served under Gov. Paul E. Patton, where she managed IT management and investment for the government.
In her new role at CGI, Valicenti will work with government officials to address their IT needs.
