On the heels of its National Level Repository debut, Northrop Grumman announced last week its participation in this week’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society 2011 Annual Conference and Exposition.
Northrop plans to exhibit its new military mobile application. The Department of Veterans Affair’s Blue Button app allows veterans to download their personal health information securely through their VA MyHealtheVet account.
Through Northrop’s application, VA-214, veterans can access their MyHealtheVet electronic health records on mobile Apple iOS and Google Android platform devices.
Northrop will also display its Population Health Analytics, a system organizations can use to assess community health trends and disease management, as well as the company’s Comprehensive Health Information Medicaid Eligibility System, a Web-based solution that streamlines eligibility processing to help states meet federal timelines and satisfy constantly changing administrative needs.
“Northrop Grumman is a global leader in health information technology,” said Amy King, vice president for Health IT Programs for Northrop Grumman. “Our solutions help empower organizations to better achieve their missions through more informed and effective management of their programs.”
