Based out of Beijing, Allen will spearhead Boeing’s growing Chinese business. His new position reports to Shep Hill, president of Boeing International.

Allen previously served Boeing as vice president of global law affairs and as general counsel, and led Boeing’s international legal practice group.
“David has been a leader of U.S. business growth in China for more than two decades,” said Boeing Chairman, CEO and President Jim McNerney. “His exemplary commitment to The Boeing Company and to China markets has set a very high standard for us.”
Boeing and China have a long history together. The aerospace company regularly supplies China with airplanes. According to the company, 50 percent of Chinese commercial jetliners are Boeing airplanes.
