Deloitte Consulting LLP, one of the largest consulting services providers in the United States, has elected Jim Moffatt as the company’s new chairman and chief executive officer.
Moffatt will succeed Punit Renjen, chairman-elect of the board, Deloitte LLP.
“Jim is committed to developing our people and delivering value to our communities,” Deloitte LLP Chief Executive Officer-elect Joseph Echevarria said. “[He] is the right person to move that commitment forward for Deloitte Consulting.”
An employee of Deloitte LLP for 23 years, Moffatt’s resume with the company includes serving as the advisory partner at two leading healthcare organizations and establishing the “Client Excellence” program, a community for the leaders of Deloitte’s 100-plus largest accounts. He currently serves as national managing director for the Deloitte Consulting clients and industries group.
Moffatt received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at San Diego and his master’s degree in business administration from UCLA, where the Anderson School of Management recently recognized him as one of its “100 Inspirational Alumni.”
