Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has appointed Kimberly Ramalho vice president of communications for its Mission Systems and Sensors (MS2) business, which is part of the electronic systems business area and employs nearly 15,000.
“Kimberly joins MS2 at an exciting time as we continue to grow our core U.S. and international weapon systems and sensor business while also building positions in new markets,” said Orlando Carvalho, president of Lockheed Martin MS2. “Her significant record of achievement in corporate communications and public affairs will prove critical in creating integrated communications strategies that advance our business objectives.”
Ramalho has served as the global communications director for General Electric’s Water and Process Technologies business since 2009. Prior to that role, she held leadership positions with American Water and Siemens Corp.
Ramalho earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Richard Stockton College and her master’s degree in communications from Rutgers University.
