Day and Zimmermann announced this week Michael P. McMahon, president of its engineering, construction and maintenance group, won election to the Nuclear Energy Institute board of directors.
McMahon will serve for a three-year term and will advise the nuclear and technology industry on national and global policy.
“Being elected to NEI’s board is a tremendous honor, and it is wonderful recognition for Day and Zimmermann’s contributions to the nuclear industry,” he said. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on the board to help the NEI deliver on its mission to ensure the formation of policies that promote the acceptance and recognition of nuclear energy’s role in supplying safe, secure, dependable and economical electricity.”
Day and Zimmermann provides government and commercial clients with personnel, engineering, construction and maintenance services. McMahon previously served the company as president of power services, president of NPS, vice president of business development and executive vice president of operations.
