Concurrent Technologies Corporation has been awarded United States Patent No. 7,865,875 B2 for the “Programming Toolkit for Developing Case Management Software Applications,” an intellectual property that provides software components that allow organizations to automate and streamline workflows, coordinate activities between organizations, and integrate data from multiple sources.
Case management software allows multiple parties and systems to coordinate their work on each particular “case,” though the functionality of the software remains in tact despite that various organizations may use different data.
“Since 1999, CTC has been customizing and building award-winning case management solutions for our government clients,” said Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., CTC’s president and chief executive officer. “The issuance of this patent exemplifies CTC’s plan to ensure competitiveness in software technology fields.”
Use of the software toolkit will allow developers to focus exclusively on on meeting the specific case management needs of each particular business/enterprise. The toolkit’s user base focuses on federal agencies, including, but not limited to the Justice Department, the FBI, the Defense Security Service and the Department of Homeland Security.
