The honor was bestowed upon the company by the Bay Area News Group, a collection of publications that includes the San Jose Mercury News and the Oakland Tribune.
Bay Area News Group bestows awards based on the results of a survey conducted among employees designed to measure satisfaction of working with each company. Categories include pay and benefits, career mobility and workplace conditions. SAP Labs is one of several companies in Silicon Valley to receive this distinction.
“SAP’s Palo Alto campus is an exciting and stimulating workplace where we bring innovation to life every day, thanks entirely to our talented and dedicated workforce” said Barbara Holzapfel, senior vice president and managing director, SAP Labs North America. “This distinction is an honor to all of us, to the work that we do for our customers and for the good of the community, and it further inspires us to be an integral part of the Silicon Valley fabric.”
SAP received particularly high praise for compensation and workplace conditions, in addition to its commitment to local community activities.
