Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM), announced today Ted R. Antenucci, president and CEO of Catellus Development Corporation, has joined its board of directors, making him the 12th director in company history.
Antenucci became president and CEO of Catellus Development, a private real estate firm, in March 2011 and, until today, served the dual role as president and chief investment officer of Prologis, both positions he assumed in 2007.
“As we undertake a review of strategic opportunities to maximize value to our shareholders, we wanted to add someone with strong real estate experience to our board,” said Richard Reese, Iron Mountain’s chairman and CEO. “We ran an extensive search, identifying several compelling candidates and ultimately, we chose Ted for his experience in real estate acquisition, operations and capital allocation. We’re happy to have him on our board and look forward to his contributions.”
Antenucci’s history with Prologis, an industrial real estate investment trust, goes back a decade-he served as president of global development for the trust from 2005-2007 after serving as president of Catellus Commercial Development, a subsidiary of Catellus Development, beginning in 2001 until Catellus Development merged with Prologis in 2005.
Antenucci earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California Santa Barbara and sits on the board of the board of directors for Hudson Pacific Properties (NYSE: HPP), a public real estate investment trust, as well as the board of trustees of the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
