Northrop Grumman Corporation has appointed Timothy Harrington to the position of vice president and controller of the company’s Technical Services sector headquartered in Herndon, Va., effective June 4.
Harrington will be in charge of oversight for sector financial operations, including financial planning and reporting, rates and pricing estimates and compliance with internal control practices and company policies and procedures.
“Tim brings a rich wealth of financial acumen and practical program and operation experience to the sector,” said Dave Harvey, sector vice president of business management and chief financial officer for Northrop Grumman’s technical services sector. “He will be a tremendous leader and key contributor as we continue to grow and expand our operations both in the United States and around the world.”
Harrington has held positions within the fields of finance, operations and project management with Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems since 1981. He most recently served as director of business manager postal, international trade and treasury, where he operated the sector’s postal automation systems and European operations including the treasury and international trade functions. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University.
