Altegrity recognized today a team of employees from HireRight as the winners of the company’s fourth annual Best In Class Competition for their innovative and sustainable business ideas. BICC is a corporate competition for innovative business ideas to help drive the success of Altegrity and its three business units, USIS, HireRight and Kroll.
This years competition included more than 250 entries. Altegrity executives judged the presentations and scored the ideas based on a set of defined criteria.
“I was extremely impressed by the innovative solutions presented by all of the teams from the Altegrity family of businesses,” said Altegrity CEO Mike Cherkasky. “BICC provides a great opportunity for our employees to become more engaged by thinking of ways to improve our business and connecting with our overall corporate goals.”
The winning concept aimed at transforming the customer hiring and screening experience within a specific industry with unique needs. The idea included details of unmet market needs and how to address them. Included was a business plan outlining the new products, services and resources required to successfully implement the team’s idea.
“I’m so proud of our team who took BICC honors this year, and all of the talented HireRight staff who not only submitted outstanding ideas through the BICC competition, but who are continuously looking for ways to better serve our customers,” said HireRight President and CEO Mike Petrullo. “I also want to congratulate all of the finalist teams across the Altegrity family of businesses, who brought many insightful ideas to the table this year, undoubtedly making competition judging extremely difficult.”
Less than three points separated the HireRight team from the runner-up teams, and all Altegrity businesses had a team that placed in the top five. According to Altegrity, many of the ideas presented at BICC have the potential to become future business solutions that benefit Altegrity’s employees and customers.
