CSC's Virtual Desktop Portfolio Expansion With VMware

Today at VMworld 2011, CSC announced its virtual desktop portfolio expansion which will now include a new series based upon VMware View 5 running on the Vblock platform from VCE.

The expansion offers more ways in which users with differing work styles can access their applications and date from a wide arrange of networked devices while protected by data center practices and the freedom of cloud services. In expanding their services for enterprise users, CSC enables a well-designed SmartWorkPlace focusing on security, increasing business agility and cost effectiveness.

Working with our technology alliance partners VMware, VCE, EMC, and Cisco, the VMware Series solutions complement our existing virtual desktop services, which include the CSC Dynamic Desktop for Citrix Series, to give our clients more deployment options to support a wide variety of end user needs.”

The new VMware series can be deployed through CSC Dynamic Desktop, CSC CloudDesktop and CSC BizCloud.
