Fiona Barshow, vice president of business development at solutions provider Citizant, has been elected to the IJIS Institute board of directors. Barshow was introduced as part of the new IJIS Institute’s board at the organization’s summer Industry Briefing held in Jersey City, N.J., July 29-30.
She has been a senior member of Citizant’s business development team since 2008, playing an critical role in supporting the company’s expanding base of federal customers in the areas of public safety, national security and law enforcement. The IJIS Institute is a nonprofit organization that joins forces with member companies to unite the private and public sectors for improving mission-critical information sharing.
“Fiona has played a key role in helping Citizant deliver high-quality information technology solutions to customers throughout the government law enforcement community,” said Paul Bize, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing at Citizant. “We believe she will be a great asset to the IJIS Institute as it continues to improve mission-critical information sharing and find new ways to further advance information sharing at all levels throughout the federal law enforcement community.”
