Ingersoll Rand has named Paul Camuti senior vice president of innovation and chief technology officer, a position responsible for leading global innovation and technology-led growth strategies in addition to promoting an innovative mindset for the environmental organization.
Camuti joins Ingersoll Rand from Siemens Corporation, where he served in various senior leadership roles for more than 16 years. His most recent position was as president of smart grid applications for Siemens Energy Inc., where he oversaw the development and delivery of smart grid products, services and solutions across the entire energy conversion chain. Prior to his work in this position, he served as president and chief executive officer of Siemens Corporate Research, where he was in charge of the information and automation technologies global technology field.

Camuti’s leadership involvement includes work with the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on a technology transfer to prepare for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and making a presentation to the Presidential Council of Advisors from the Office of Science and Technology Policy. He received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Lehigh University and completed the Siemens Advanced Management Program at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
