KPMG has announced the recent appointments of Lynne M. Doughtie as vice chair-Advisory and Carl Carande as national managing partner-Advisory. Doughtie will succeed Mark Goodburn and Carande will succeed Doughtie’s former role at the firm as its national managing partner.
Doughtie’s responsibilities include leading Advisory for KPMG in the Americas Region, a network of KPMG member firms which includes more than 7,000 advisory partners and professionals. She will also work closely with colleagues internationally to ensure the global needs ofKPMG member firm clients are seamlessly addressed across geographic boarders.
“Lynn’s extensive leadership and client experience is ideally suited to help our clients as they responded to new risk environments, manage through rapidly changing public policy and regulatory reform and take advantage of emerging trends such as Cloud, digital media, and advanced data management,” said John B. Veihmeyer, chief executive officer of the firm.
Carl Carande will be responsible for teaming with Doughtie to execute the firm’s advisory growth strategy, people initiatives and service quality activities. In a previous position at the company, Carande served as the national account leader for the banking and financial sector.
