Hammonds is responsible for Boeing’s IT strategy, operations and processes. She also oversees all aspects of information security across the company.
Hammonds most recently was the vice president of IT infrastructure, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining solutions inclusive of network, computing, server, storage, collaboration and infrastructure technologies.
Hammonds joined Boeing in 2008, when she was named vice president of Boeing’s IT business systems organization.
Prior to joining Boeing, Hammonds was Dell’s director of manufacturing operations in the Americas.
Before joining Dell in 2007, Hammonds was with the Ford Motor Company for 16 years. She held positions in product engineering, manufacturing, quality, marketing and information technology leadership roles.
Hammonds holds an M.B.A. from Western Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
Hammonds is a member of the Society of Woman Engineers and is a board member of Tech America Midwest. In 2011, she was named to the “Women to Watch” list in Crain’s Chicago Business
