Sabre has announced the addition of Captain Bob Roof, U.S. Navy as senior executive director of Sabre’s Mid-Atlantic Region Group Operations. Roof joined Sabre’s Mid-Atlantic senior management staff Sept. 14.
He reports directly to Glen Ives, the region’s group vice president supporting the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft Program at the Naval Air Systems Command and will lead Sabre Mid-Atlantic’s strategic initiatives in maritime and aviation sectors.
Before joining Sabre, Roof served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Officer and Naval Aviator for more than 26 years. He recently served as Program Manager of the Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, a Master of Science in Financial Management and is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School.
