Deloitte received today a top 10 ranking in the Working Mother magazine survey of the “100 Best Companies for Working Mothers,” the third consecutive year it receved such a ranking, the 18th successive year the firm has been honored on the list.
Criteria for the rankings were based on 650 questions that address issues including access and usage of flexible work arrangements, parental leave, childcare, health and wellness support and the advancement of women to all levels of management.
“As an organization ‘where leaders thrive’, Deloitte recognizes the critical importance of providing an environment where all of our people, women and men, can fit work and life together,” said Barbara Adachi, national managing principal for Deloitte’s Initiative for the Retention and Advancement of Women.
“Reducing career-life conflict enhances morale, productivity and retention — and by extension helps us build and sustain a talent pipeline of future leaders,” Adachi added.
Earlier this year, Deloitte was also named one of the Best Companies for Women’s Advancement in the U.S. The firm was recognized for its commitment to helping high-potential women secure the mentoring, networking, and professional development required to progress to senior management.
