Shane Robison, HP’s executive vice president, chief strategist and technology officer, will retire effective Nov. 1.
An 11-year veteran at HP, Robison served on the company’s executive council. The company says Robison been a leader in many of the merger and acquisition activities and also was instrumental in steering the company’s multibillion-dollar research.
“Shane has been a powerful innovator for our business groups and other corporate divisions,” said Meg Whitman, HP president and chief executive officer. “His passion for research and development has ensured that innovation continues at HP.”
