Peter Santighian is the vice president of consulting services at CGI Federal and originally joined CGI in August of 2010 when the company acquired Stanley Inc. Santighian leads CGI’s strategic development team focused on organic growth across all five CGI Federal Business units.
Santighian worked at Stanley for 13 years serving in various positions, one of which included acting as the federal civilian strategic account manager. In this position he was responsible for growth across the company’s civilian accounts and was involved in multiple mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Santighian was a major contributor to sever government-wide acquisition contract wins, such as the GSA Alliant and NIH CIOSP2.
For five years at Stanley, Santighian was responsible for over 20 percent year-over-year growth for key accounts such as Departments of Health and Human Services, Treasury and Justice. He held additional managerial level roles at Stanley including leading teams that supported ERP, ECM, and custom development implementations for clients including the Federal Reserve Board, the National Geo-Spatial Intelligence Agency, the DISA, the US Army, the Marine Corps, the US Marshals Service, the OCC and the IRS.
Prior to his position with Stanley, Santighian served for two years as a congressional staffer on the Commission for Security and Cooperation in Europe. While serving, he supported bi-partisan congressional efforts in support of human rights, free elections and democracy movements in Easter Europe as well as the Former Soviet Union after the Soviet Union’s collapse.
Santighian holds a masters in business administration from George Washington University as well as a bachelors from the American University.
