Jim Traficant Comments on New Harris Task Order for VA Mental Health Program

Harris Corp. has won a task order with the Department of Veterans Affairs to help develop new mental health modules for VA’s My HealtheVet portal and help track medication and treatment for patients suffering from mental health disorders.

The task order has a $4.5 million ceiling and was awarded under the three-year My Recovery Plan blanket purchase agreement. Harris will provide support services for the medication monitoring and tracking module as well as the My Goals module through requirements development,

testing and implementation support.

“My Recovery Plan gives veterans an invaluable tool to monitor their own mental health regime, develop life goals, and stay in constant contact with their clinicians,” said Jim Traficant, president of Harris’ healthcare business unit. “These new modules within the My HealtheVet portal will improve our veterans’ ability to recover from serious mental health disorders.”
