In a company release, Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Global Services Officer at Iron Mountain Tasos Tsolakis, indicated that this is the ninth consecutive year the company has made the list and pointed to the company’s transportation project as a factor in their ranking.
“Our transportation performance optimization project was a major initiative for the entire organization, combining the strengths of our IT and operations teams. This ranking underscores our commitment to using technology to better run our business and improve our customer experience,” Tsolakis said.
The project team aimed to integrate six databases for tracking routes and deliveries. The end goal was to create real-time reporting that would improve courier practices.
