Steve Messick has today been named senior vice president of worldwide sales at SafeNet. Messick will serve as a strategic leader for SafeNet’s global sales and will serve as an integral part of SafeNet’s senior leadership team. He will report to executive vice president and chief revenue 0fficer Phil Saunders.
Benchmark Executive Search made the announcement of SafeNet’s newest executive appointment.

Messick comes from Fishnet Security where he served as chief sales officer. He also worked at Symantec and held top executive positions with Axent and Inktomi, where he provided the strategic direction required to successfully penetrate new markets, develop product strategies and improve alignment between sales and marketing.
