CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Alexandria-based employee-owned technology services company, announced several executive promotions, effective Dec. 5, 2011.
“These promotions and changes are designed to position CALIBRE to continue our success as we implement our Strategic Plan,” said Joseph Martore, president and CEO.
The company promoted John Mutarelli, who has been with the company since 1994, from executive vice president and chief financial officer to executive vice president and chief operations officer.
Mutarelli will lead planning and execution of sales and delivery of business functions, said the company.
William Maxwell has in effect been appointed to the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer. In this position, he will handle financial and information technology operations. He will also act as the primary liaison with the Defense Contracts Audit Agency.
The company has made Jeffrey Giangiuli senior vice president, business development, where he will play a role in the company’s growth strategy in markets such as defense, energy and environment.
Additionally, Katherine Hein has been promoted to director and head of corporate security programs and Tyler Kim has been promoted to director for finance and accounting and controller.
