Raytheon has been awarded a share of an $80,830,000 contract modification from the Australian navy for airborne low frequency sonar systems. The company’s integrated defense systems business unit will supply the systems under a foreign military sales program. Work is expected to be completed in October 2016.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded CenturyLink‘s subsidiary Qwest Government Services a $2.1 million contract to provide information technology services, the Washington Post reported today. ITT Exelis has recently won a $5.7 million multi-year subcontract to produce 375 generator control modules for F/A-18 aircraft, the company has announced. DRS Technologies’ technical services subsidiary has won a $6.3 million time and materials contract with the U.S. Army Contracting Command, the Pentagon has announced.
