For the seventh consecutive time, Raytheon has today achieved a perfect 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign‘s 2012 Corporate Equality Index. Companies with a 100 percent rating are also named to the organization’s “Best Places to Work” list.
The HRC, the nation’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, uses the CEI as a means to rate large U.S. companies on how they treat their GLBT employees, consumers and investors.
“Raytheon’s success depends in part on our ability to recognize, respect and leverage the individual and cultural differences of our workforce,” said Hayward Bell, Raytheon chief diversity officer.
“We are pleased that Raytheon’s continued commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace is recognized by the Human Rights Campaign in our seventh consecutive 100 percent CEI rating,” he added.
