Vivek replaces Vir Bhanu, who had led India operations as vice president since September 2011. The company said Bhanu will continue to lead CIBER India’s domestic business.
Vivek has more than 30 years of information technology industry experience in the global market. Prior to joining CIBER, he was a vice president at Oracle and led Oracle’s solution services in India.
Vivek was a part of Oracle SSI for 20 years and the company credited him with expanding the portfolio of services offered by nearly 400 percent, growing revenue and developing new markets for the organization in 40 countries around Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
“Increasingly businesses are turning to global delivery to drive efficiency, support around-the-clock work, access talent and ensure business continuity… we’re confident Vivek will be a significant force in helping CIBER strengthen and grow our global delivery business,” said CIBER CEO Dave Peterschmidt.
