ManTech Anti-Terror R&D Support Contract Extended; Terry Ryan Comments

ManTech International Corp. has received a one-year, $17 million contract extension to continue supporting a Defense Department research and development program for combating terrorism.

ManTech said it will provide administrative, scientific, engineering and technical support for areas involving policy development, management, administration and systems operations.

The Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office conducts the R&D program in its anti-terror efforts. ManTech said its services will also support the office’s technical support working group.

Terry Ryan, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s systems engineering and advanced technology group, said ManTech’s work will assist the CTTSO in rapid acquisition, systems engineering and prototype development and testing.

ManTech’s services will also include:

  • management and professional support services
  • studies, analyses and evaluations
