Schafer Starts Work Under $40M Deal with DHS Nuclear Detection Office

Schafer Corp. reported it has begun work on a task order worth $40 million over 2.5 years with the Department of Homeland Security’s Domestic Nuclear Detection Office.

DNDO serves as the U.S. government’s primary avenue for implementing domestic nuclear detection efforts.

Under the contract, Schafer is providing operation, scientific and engineering support for DNDO’s headquarters and directorates.

Schafer also provides similar services for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the U.S. Transportation Command, the Missile Defense Agency, NASA and the Department of Homeland Security.
