Christopher Newport University will host a homeland security symposium July 19 and July 20 on its Newport News, Va. campus.
CNU says the symposium will focus on partnerships and coordination between the public and private sectors.
Kroll Chairman Bill Bratton is listed as a confirmed keynote speaker for July 19. Bratton served as chief of the Boston, New York and Los Angeles police departments.
Prior to Altegrity’s acquisition of Kroll in 2010, Bratton served as chairman of Altegrity Risk International, now part of Kroll. Bratton joined Altegrity, Kroll’s parent company, in 2009.
Bratton is also chairman of the Department of Homeland Security‘s advisory council.
