Boeing JV Delivers New Osprey Helicopters to Marines

Boeing and Textron’s Bell Helicopter‘s V-22 joint venture has delivered upgraded aircraft to the Marine Corps, Boeing announced Tuesday.

The new Osprey aircraft have a new weather radar system and a new environmental conditioning system.

The upgraded aircraft also have flare dispensers built into the electronic warfare system.

Boeing said the new capacity is intended to increase the Osprey’s situational awareness.
