Boeing Wins Navy F-18 Wing Assembly Work

Boeing has won a potential $30,050,000 Defense Logistics Agency contract to provide F/A-18 aircraft inner wing assemblies, the Defense Department announced Tuesday.

The Navy is the using service.

Boeing will perform work under the long-term, sole-source contract in St. Louis. 

The Navy expects Boeing to complete work by February 2014.

The DLA Aviation, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
