Raytheon to Repair Weapon Assemblies on Sea Stallion, Osprey

Raytheon won a $9,499,995 Navy delivery order to repair weapon replacement assemblies, the Defense Department announced Wednesday.

Raytheon will repair eight assemblies for the CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter and V-22 Osprey aircraft under a five-year basic ordering agreement.

Raytheon will perform 84 percent of the work in Jacksonville, Fla. and 16 percent in McKinney, Texas.

The Pentagon expects Raytheon to complete work by by Sept. 28, 2012.

The NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity.
