Siemens said Glazer will also serve as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for the company’s U.S. operations.
Glazer is the company’s first woman to be named general counsel for U.S. operations.
Glazer joined Siemens in 2004 and previously served as general counsel for Siemens’ product lifecycle management unit in Plano, Texas.
Glazer was also general counsel for Siemens’ mesoamerica business, where she oversaw legal activities in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Glazer previously was vice president and general counsel at Telvista Inc.
In 2011, Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazine named Glazer one of the most important Hispanics in technology.
Glazer received the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Diversity Award in 2011 as well.
