USIS said Weston administers contracts for federal employees and is one two USIS employees who works on-site at the bureau’s contracts division.
Weston is a veteran of the then-Army Air Corps and Air Force. Weston served as a pilot in World War II and was recognized with the Distinguished Flying Cross and as an Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters.
Weston also served in a unit of the National Guard during the Korean War. He was later assigned to the Strategic Air Command during the Cold War and flew B-47 aircraft.
While in the Air Force, Weston supported the CIA and played a part as an air operations officer during the Vietnam conflict. He retired from the Air Force in 1973 and then served in the CIA until 1978.
Weston said he enjoyed committing his life to public service as a pilot and as a civilian for the CIA.
“Working in the private sector for USIS with the federal government as a customer has been icing on the cake,” Weston said.
