The consulting and technology firm said Monday that the contract could extend for up to five years.
The company’s infrastructure services and application services teams will support Rolls-Royce’s operations from the U.S., U.K., India and Poland for a five year period.
Rolls-Royce selected the U.K-based company as part of its multi-vendor outsourcing strategy.
Capgemini will act as Rolls-Royce’s service integrator and will support its business applications, including the company’s supply chain management software systems.
The company will begin providing its IT support services after a transition period scheduled to be complete by the end of 2012.
The company won the contract through a competitive bid process.
Capgemini will provide similar IT infrastructure support services to the Texas Department of Information Resources under a $127 million contract announced March 13.
